I had a blast on this photo shoot with two of my 2013 Senior Ambassadors. The old cars were a perfect backdrop for what I wanted to do. I am very, very happy with the way everything looks. Kassidy and Hunter were great subjects (and lighting assistants, too). This was the first of many upcoming Senior photo sessions with my Ambassadors, as we try to prepare for the busy Senior season. I’m leaving tomorrow for the St. Pete Beach in Florida for the Senior and Youth National Conference. Four days of learning and fun from some of the best Senior and Youth photographers in the country. I’m sure I’ll see some old friends and hopefully make some new ones. And if it happens to be sunny and in the mid-70′s on the beach in January, then that will be okay, too.

I believe that it is important to continue to learn. It helps me stay motivated, keeps me from getting bored with my job, and gives me fresh ideas to improve many aspects of my business. For instance, the information I hope to learn at SYNC will have a direct and immediate impact on my business. I plan to be very active this year in marketing to Seniors and Youth. Although I have photographed many High School Seniors over the years, I have never really tried to make Seniors a major part of what I do. Starting next week, you can expect that to change.

So, if you are in your junior year of high school, or know someone who is, stay tuned to the blog to see what’s ahead in 2012.

What can I say? Newborn boy & girl twins. Who could ask for anything more? Congratulations to Jen & Bryce on their new adorable babies, Samuel and Olivia. I have a feeling I will be taking their portraits for many, many years to come.

I was hired to photograph The Green Concert at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA featuring the Eagles. My job was to photograph the pre-show crowd, the V.I.P. area, and the Eagles backstage right before they took the stage. I really do enjoy my job, especially on days like this.
